As a trained chef, I worked in the catering industry for 25 years. Among other things, I ran my own restaurant in Basel as an entrepreneur for many years. In 2006, I completed a degree in non-profit management at the FHNW. I then worked for many years in various management roles at work integration organisations. For example, I managed the Liestal bike station of the Job Club association for five years until 2019. After a sabbatical in 2021, I decided to make my knowledge and energy available to the Unia trade union. At Unia, I have been working in the legal service for our members for two years and manage various collective labour agreements in the trade sector. In June 2023, I was elected to the board of Contiva and am delighted to be working for this exceptional organisation.
