Oral application skills

Participants
Job seekers who feel insecure in their personal appearance and/or who want to sell themselves better and train how to deal with particularly tricky questions.

Prerequisites

  • Level A: You understand standard German and technical terms from your everyday working life (level B1) and can express yourself orally in a simple and coherent manner on familiar topics.
  • Level B: Participants have completed training with an EFZ or at tertiary level.

Course objectives
The participants

  • know how to prepare well for job interviews
  • can answer difficult questions well and confidently
  • can explain their career and the unemployment situation in a comprehensible way
  • know important providers for online interviews (Skype, Zoom, MSTeams, etc.)
  • have practised strategies on how to "sell" themselves well

Course duration
Level A: The module lasts 3 half days and takes place either in the morning or in the afternoon.
Level B: The module takes place on 2 days from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. including a one-hour lunch break.
