KIGA Basel-Land: OPeN course

We developed the OPeN course on behalf of and in close cooperation with the Basel-Land Cantonal Office for Industry, Trade and Labour. OPeN stands for orientation - perspectives - daring to try something new.

Where does the "problem" actually lie?

OPeN is designed for jobseekers who have no recognisable handicaps - and are nevertheless unsuccessful.

Contiva works with the course participants in the group to analyse their personal and professional situation as well as their application strategy and behaviour in the job interview. Together we identify the "blind spots" and can then specifically address and optimise these points.

Get an impression of the OPeN course!

Prerequisites
Participants understand and speak German very well and have good to very good professional qualifications (training and work experience). They have complete application documents.

Target price
The aim of OPeN is to open up new prospects for jobseekers and define measures to optimise their job search. In the subsequent follow-up support (individual counselling), they can receive additional support with implementation if required.

Contents

  • Analyse the current situation (resources and obstacles)
  • Develop perspectives (dream job, bread-and-butter job, worst case, realisable)
  • Define next steps (What can I do/change? What do I decide in favour of?)
  • Plan the implementation (What do I do, when and how exactly?)
  • Practising for the job interview

Duration
Monday to Friday from 09.00 - 12.00 and 13.00 - 16.00

Registration
Registration takes place via the RAV personnel counselling service.
Participants will receive a definitive invitation with exact details of the course location, duration and times no later than 1 week before the start of the course.
